The lake holds a good stock of Common Carp-my best was about 6lbs. There are also some super specimens of Crucian carp and large Rudd.
On one memorable morning I bagged 12 large commons, 3 Crucians and a plump Rudd, for a total of about 70lbs in 3hrs-super sport!
The fish are all in superb condition-Jenny might show you the photo's if you are really keen. Best bait seemed to be sweetcorn, fished over 'loose fed trout pellets'.
